WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Outdoorsy allows owners to choose among three standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate and Strict) that we enforce to protect both owners and renters.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAUSE MINOR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE?

Once you pick up the rental, you’re responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period. (Make sure you are aware of what your insurance covers and what you’re responsible for on the road). Unless your bundle includes interior damage protection, this doesn’t cover certain things like interior damage NOT caused in a collision.

 

HOW DO I BOOK A VEHICLE?

Just key your desired dates and location into the search field on Outdoorsy.com to discover a host of awesome RVs. If you like a listing, click “Request Booking”, and the owner will approve or deny your request. When approved, you’ll be prompted to pay the reservation deposit. You can also add Outdoorsy roadside assistance at any point up until the pickup date for $15/day.

 

HOW DO I BECOME A VERIFIED DRIVER?

Outdoorsy makes it super simple to get covered under its $1M insurance policy. Just navigate to your reservation and click “Get Verified”. Or go to your profile to add licenses for any drivers age 25 and up.

 

HOW DO I KNOW THE VEHICLE OWNERS ON OUTDOORSY ARE GENUINE?

Our community thrives on transparency, honesty and accountability. That’s why we try to collect as many ratings and reviews as possible to give renters insight into each owner. Be vigilant about reading reviews and asking owners detailed questions in order to become more comfortable on the site.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE?

There isn’t a limit to the number of drivers, but each driver must pass our DMV check to be covered by Outdoorsy’s insurance policy. The primary renter who signs the contract is ultimately responsible for any additional drivers insured through Outdoorsy’s policy.

It’s always a good rule of thumb to take a safety first approach in any vehicle. That’s why all states require seat belts for every passenger in an RV, including passengers in the cabin area
